Corporate Woodworking was selected as the design-build millwork contractor for Justworks brand new corporate headquarters in downtown Manhattan. The 270,000sqft project spanned three floors with custom millwork throughout. Highlights of the project included hundreds of custom fabricated blackened steel components including table legs, planters, marker board frames, banquette frames, and many small trim items. The Corporate Woodworking metal shop rose to the challenge in fabricating and finishing all of these components. The main elevator lobby features a 25’ long perforated aluminum ceiling feature that sets the stage for all visitors entering the new Justworks office. This feature was engineered entirely by the Corporate Woodworking team, laser cut, finished, and installed on the jobsite creating a stunning first impression for Justworks clients. Other feature items in this space included a custom reception desk, one-of-a-kind cabinet doors throughout with applied corrugate steel, live edge tables, banquettes, steel pipe shelving units, and many other unique features.
